WhatsApp adds new notification support system for Android Nougat

WhatsApp has now launched the latest notification system which fully supports Android Nougat . The update is still in beta testing mode on Android and will be available soon for all other users.

The reports tells that the new beta update is available on version 2.17.13, which will give long missing feature of  the full notification system for Android Nougat users. This latest update will show a reply button within the notification menu itself thus enables the users to reply to individual messages directly from the notification menu. Users were also facing the persistent issue of disappearance of Quick Reply whenever a new message is received, however this new update solve this issue too. Additionally, with this latest beta update, user will make it easier for users to read and reply to messages on the watch itself.

If you are keen to know about the latest new features then you should be a WhatsApp Beta tester user. If you are not, then you have to become a WhatsApp Beta tester via Google Play. Or if you don’t want to WhatsApp Beta tester, then you just have to get the beta update manually by downloading the APK to your Android device from APK Mirror.

Last week, WhatsApp implemented the functionality where you can search GIFs from within the app for Android users. Tap on the emoji icon next to the text bar to see the new GIF icon which ultimately increases the app’s media sharing ability from 10 to 30.
